FIFA strips commercial sponsor branding from host venues for the duration of the tournament, so on match tickets, broadcast graphics and the official fixture list the venue appears as BC Place Vancouver. Locals will keep calling it BC Place the rest of the year.
BC Place is Vancouver's premier indoor stadium, featuring the world's largest cable-supported retractable roof. Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver with stunning views of the North Shore mountains, it offers an intimate and atmospheric setting. The stadium has hosted FIFA Women's World Cup 2015 matches and the 2010 Winter Olympics.
