Fan Zones & Watch Parties
No stadium ticket? This is your World Cup. FIFA Fan Fests bring 104 matches to 16 cities across three countries, free to enter, packed with fans from every nation on Earth.
The World Cup Experience Without a Ticket
Stadium tickets for World Cup 2026 sold out in minutes. If you missed out, you are far from alone, and you are far from missing out. The FIFA Fan Fest exists precisely for this: to bring the full emotional experience of the World Cup to everyone, in the heart of every host city, at zero cost.
Picture tens of thousands of fans packed into an outdoor arena, a screen as tall as a building showing the match in crystal clarity, the roar when a goal goes in rolling through the crowd like a shockwave. Flags from 50 countries. Street food from the host city. A DJ set at half-time. People you have never met becoming your closest friends for 90 minutes. That is what a FIFA Fan Fest day feels like, and it is available to you in all 16 World Cup 2026 cities, from June 11 through to the Final on July 19.
Every single one of the 104 matches is screened live at every fan zone. Your city may be hosting 3 games at the local stadium, but at the fan zone you can watch every group stage match, every knockout clash, and the Final itself. You are not watching from a distance. You are watching together with the world.
5 Reasons to Book Your Trip Even Without a Stadium Ticket
You watch all 104 matches live, not just the 3 played in your city.
The atmosphere with 50,000 fans around you rivals anything inside a stadium.
Free entry means your budget goes toward flights, hotels, and experiencing the city.
Fan fests run for 6 weeks, meaning you can plan around your exact travel dates.
You will meet fans from every country on Earth in one place, every single day.
What Actually Happens There

Purpose-built outdoor screens up to 200 square metres, broadcasting every match in HD with full stadium commentary and crowd audio from the venue.

Local artists, international DJs, and cultural acts perform between and after matches. Each city's fan zone reflects its own music and cultural identity.

Local food vendors, street food stalls, and bar areas serving the host city's best food and drink. Fan fests are as much a food festival as a football one.

You will not find this concentration of international fans anywhere else on Earth. Every match day is a collision of cultures, languages, and flags that you remember forever.
Your Match Day at the Fan Fest
Gates open 2 to 3 hours before kick-off. The viewing area fills from the front. Arrive early to claim a prime spot close to the screen. Take public transport, as roads near fan zones are heavily congested on match days.
The entertainment programme kicks in: live music, DJ sets, warm-up games, and interactive zones. Food stalls are fully open. This is when you meet your neighbours and find out who they are rooting for.
When the whistle blows, 30,000 to 100,000 people around you hold their breath at the same time. Every chance, every tackle, every goal. You will not experience 90 minutes like this anywhere else.

The Final Happens at MetLife Stadium
On July 19, 2026, the World Cup Final is played in New Jersey. Every fan zone screens it live, so you can watch the greatest match in football alongside the world.
Arrive Ready, Leave Happy
Arrive at least 2 hours before kick-off for knockout games. The prime viewing spots in front of the main screen fill up first.
Pack sunscreen and a refillable water bottle. Fan zones run 6 to 8 hours in full July summer sun across North America.
Download the official FIFA app before you travel. It shows live fan zone schedules, match times, and city-specific venue information.
Wear your team colours and bring a national flag. Fan zones are the one place in the world where this is not just acceptable but expected.
Explore the local food stalls, not just the main concessions. Each city brings its own street food culture into the fan zone.
Take public transport on match days. Parking near fan zones is limited and roads are congested. Most venues are within 10 minutes of a transit stop.
